After years of fishing out of small flats boats, flat bottom skiffs, and a variety of bay boats I have found that the only boat on the planet that could meet my high standards and still be versatile enough to fish both in the backcountry and offshore was a 24ft Pathfinder bay boat. The Pathfinders dry ride, large front casting platform and 9” draft are just a few of the qualities which drove me to purchase this boat as my main guiding vessel. The boats 8’6” beam is also a major perk as it’s wide enough to allow four anglers plenty of walking room while fishing. The high gunnels on this boat are another added bonus as they keep my anglers and children feeling safe, while also keeping them dry. The bottom line is I had high demands and high expectations when I was looking for a quality fishing vessel and my Pathfinder has surpassed all of my expectations. Other Boats: I also have a 17" Maverick HPX-S used for individual extreme backcountry expeditions. All boats run year round and each vessel can be customized to suit the demanding needs of any angler fishing adventure.
